Handling Rounds of Cheese with Stainless Powered Lifting and Clamping Equipment
This stainless handling equipment with powered clamping and manual rotation was designed in response to a customer enquiry in the cheese industry to handle and rotate rounds of cheese in confined spaces.
The clamp attachment features a bespoke rotation system for the small clamp attachment, with locking indents to hold the cheese at pre-set fixed angles.
In addition, the clamp attachment features a low profile, narrow rotation head to access the cheese stored on racks. The rounds of cheese can be easily rotated by 180 degrees.
The lifting equipment transports the rounds of cheese to a processing area where the cheese is securely gripped at a fixed angle of 45 degrees. This is achieved by means of bespoke threaded ball index plungers and locking indents, suitable for a narrow rotation mechanism.
The clamp attachment features electric clamping incorporating a low-capacity torque limiter ensuring the clamp does not overtighten and damage the cheese.
The lifting equipment incorporates powered lifting and clamping, with manual rotation.
This lifter is entirely suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications and features FDA approved nitrile rubber rollers. Stainless Lifter with Adjustable Cradle Attachment for Handling Tooling
This stainless, bespoke lifting equipment with a large adjustable cradle attachment was designed in response to a customer requirement in the aerospace industry to handle tooling of various dimensions.
The customer had a requirement to handle varying sizes of tooling up to a capacity of 250kg (551lbs). To accommodate the various dimensions of the different sized tooling, the adjustable cradle attachment incorporates a multi-position indexing slide on guide rails. By adjusting the guide rails the cradle attachment can be easily adjusted depending on the tooling being lifted.
These features ensure a quick, easy, and simple transfer of the tooling with minimal operator effort which means that the load can be handled surely and safely with minimum effort and complete confidence.

Handling Cone Cylinder Drums with Powered Lift and Rotation
The Bespoke Stainless Clamp Attachment has been designed in response to a customer enquiry in the aerospace industry to lift and rotate a cylindrical cone assembly.
The clamp attachment is equipped with powered lifting and rotation through 360 degrees; minimising the need for manual handling. This feature is controlled by a hand-held ‘pendant’ type control which means that the operator can observe the loading and unloading of the cylindrical drums for greater precision.
In addition, the clamp attachment has a handwheel to provide the easy grip and release action of the cylindrical cones which are secured by the external diameter. The mechanism is fitted with a torque limiter so that the gripping rollers do not over or under tighten onto the reel.
The raising and lowering actions of the Clamp Attachment are made by a battery powered mechanism which is operated by simple ‘up and down’ buttons that are located ergonomically on the machines handle-bars. Ease of operation is further enhanced with a slow start feature that provides the operator with precise and accurate positioning when docking, loading and un-loading.
This lifter is entirely suitable for clean room high care environments and features FDA approved nitrile rubber rollers. Rotating Clamp Attachment with Geared Rotation – Clamps and Rotates Large Frame, 160kg.
The bespoke Rotating Clamp Attachment was designed to securely clamp and rotate a large metal frame, weighing up to 160kg.
The geared rotating clamp attachment firmly grips onto the ‘criss-cross’ box section of the metal frame.
The four clamping arms close and grip around the frame’s box section ensuring a secure hold whilst the frame is being rotated.
Rubber nitrile pads line the clamping arms keeping the framework in place.
The rotating clamp attachment enables all sides of the metal frame to be easily accessed for welding of the frame.
This heavy-duty handling solution encompasses a welded steel clamp attachment with the capability to grip and rotate the large mild steel frame without the need for any manual assistance, removing any risk of injury to employees when accessing all sides of the frame.
The Rotating Clamp is designed to be fitted to anelectric lift stacker unit. These units are a heavy duty, high capacity and ideal for factory and warehouse environments.

Bespoke Stainless Lifting Attachment – Handling Tooling Fixtures

This attachment consists of a platform construction designed to rotate 360 degrees.

Cradle Attachment for Transporting Bespoke Vessels to and from a Trolley
This lifting and handling equipment was designed in response to a customer requirement in the pharmaceutical industry.
The customer had a requirement to lift and transport a bespoke vessel, with specific dimensions, to and from a trolley.
Due to the dimensions of the vessel, there is a risk of movement whilst being handled. To resolve this issue, the Cradle Attachment is fitted with latch pins to prevent the vessel from slipping from the attachment during transport. The latch pins ensure that the vessel is securely gripped whilst being moved, also, they can be easily released to transfer the load to and from the trolley.
