Roll Handling Equipment – Lifting Attachment with Rollers and Retaining Pin

The single spindle lifting attachment with rollers and retaining pin stop was designed to lift heavy rolls (200kg) in a warehouse environment in the horizontal orientation. The rolls are transported to the packaging machinery.

The rolls are lifted by their core from the pallet or racking in the horizontal position. The rolls are then transported horizontally to the processing machinery.

The vertical spindle attachment is equipped with rollers to assist the operator to transfer the heavy rolls from the spindle attachment to the mandrel on the machinery. This reduces the requirement for operator manual handling.

A ‘pin-stop’ retainer mechanism ensures that the rolls remain safely on the attachment while being manoeuvred.

This lifting attachment is mounted onto a powder coated mild steel stacker truck, and is suitable for handling heavy rolls of film and paper in a warehouse environment where stainless steel is not required.

The attachment has a maximum capacity of up to 200kg (440lbs), however higher rated models may be available on request.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most lifting requirements.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of Compac lifting machine that is fitted with the attachment quick release system.
